at St Clerans - June 1st & 2nd 2006
The Japanese Ambassador to Ireland, His Excellency Keiichi
Hayashi was guest of honour last weekend at St Clerans
Manor House in Craughwell.
Mr Hayashi was warmly welcomed by Ken Bergin, General
Manager of the hotel for a Japanese themed evening. Guests
were served world-class Japanese food prepared by St Clerans
resident chef Hisashi Kumagai (known as Kuma).
Kuma has been the chef at St Clerans since 1998 and enjoyed
the opportunity to provide guests with a taste of Japan.
